The Australian Diabetes Society (ADS). The ADS is a society for research, medical practice and education in Diabetes Mellitus within Australia.

The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA). The ADEA provides a centralised hub for diabetes educators throughout Australia.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The JDRF is an international non-profit organisation, providing funds for Type I diabetes research.

The International diabetes Federation (IDF). The IDF is a non-government organisation in relation with the World Health Organisation (WHO), providing resource and information for diabetics and healthcare professionals.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA). The ADA is a private, voluntary organisation providing public awareness of diabetes and supports and promotes diabetes research and education.
