AiMedics Pty Ltd was founded in 2001, based on the work of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), and venture funded in 2006. Its technology has evolved from that originally based on neural network integration of physiologic signatures associated with hypoglycemia to a unique physiologic signature recognition system.

AiMedics' initial focus is on systems to accurately detect hypoglycaemia resulting as a complication of insulin therapy.
